Terms & Conditions – Skyhigh India
1

General Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern all skydiving activities offered by Skyhigh India, including but not limited to tandem skydives, static line jumps, solo jumps, Accelerated Freefall (AFF) courses, and licensed skydiver jump tickets. By booking, participating in, or attending any Skyhigh India activity, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1.1 Medical Requirements

  • 1All participants must present a valid General Medical Fitness Certificate on the day of their jump. No participant will be permitted to jump without this document.
  • 2Participants with a known or diagnosed major medical condition must additionally submit a Special Medical Fitness Certificate prior to booking. A sample medical certificate is available on our website.
  • 3Any pre-existing medical condition or disability must be disclosed to Skyhigh India at the time of booking. This allows our team to make any necessary operational or safety preparations, if required.
  • 4Skyhigh India reserves the right to refuse participation to any person whose fitness or health may pose a risk to themselves or others, as determined at the sole discretion of our trained instructors.

1.2 Age Requirements

  • 5The minimum age to participate in any skydiving activity is 18 years, as mandated by USPA regulations. Participants must be 18 or older on the day of the jump.
  • 6Participants aged 16 and 17 years may participate only with prior written parental or legal guardian consent. The parent or guardian must also co-sign the Medical Fitness Certificate as a witness and be physically present on the day of the activity to complete and sign additional required paperwork.

1.3 Weight Policy

  • 7The standard weight limit for tandem skydiving is 90 kg. Participants exceeding this limit may be accepted solely at the discretion of the assigned USPA Tandem Instructor.
  • 8Any participant who weighs above 90 kg must submit a full-length photograph prior to booking confirmation. A surcharge of ₹350 per kg above 90 kg will apply and must be paid before the jump.
  • 9All participants will be weighed on the day of the jump. Skyhigh India reserves the right to decline participation if the participant’s weight or physical condition is deemed unsuitable by the instructor.

1.4 Conduct & Safety

  • 10Participants must wear comfortable, well-fitting clothing (track pants or loose jeans) and closed-toe sports shoes on the day of the activity.
  • 11All participants must arrive at the Skyhigh India drop zone at least 45 minutes before their allocated jump time to complete ground training and administrative formalities. Failure to arrive on time may result in cancellation of the jump without refund.
  • 12No alcohol, recreational drugs, or intoxicating substances may be consumed before or during the activity. Participants who appear to be under the influence of any such substance will be refused participation without refund.
  • 13Smoking is not permitted during the activity or within designated restricted areas of the drop zone.
  • 14Littering is strictly prohibited at the drop zone and throughout the activity.
  • 15Skyhigh India reserves the right to remove any participant or visitor from the premises who is found to be misbehaving, acting unsafely, or conducting themselves in a manner deemed unsuitable by staff.
  • 16All participants must comply with the rules and regulations of the drop zone (DZ) and the relevant airfield at all times.

1.5 Administrative & Operational

  • 17All administrative formalities, including the signing of the mandatory waiver and submission of medical certificates, must be completed prior to the jump.
  • 18Skyhigh India reserves the right to change the order of tandem skydives on the day of the event without prior notice.
  • 19Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price confirmed at the time of booking will be honoured.
  • 20No refund or repeat attempt will be issued if a participant refuses to jump after boarding the aircraft.

1.6 Weather & Force Majeure

  • 21Skydiving is a weather-dependent activity. Skyhigh India reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, or cancel any jump due to adverse weather conditions, technical issues, regulatory requirements, or any other circumstance beyond our reasonable control.
  • 22If your jump is affected by weather or any force majeure event, you will be offered a free reschedule to an alternative date. Refunds will not be issued on this basis.
  • 23We recommend that participants keep the entire allocated day free, as jump times may shift due to operational or weather-related factors.
  • 24Skyhigh India shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from cancellations or operational changes, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or visa costs.

1.7 Media & Privacy

  • 25Photos and videos captured during your skydiving experience may be used by Skyhigh India for marketing, promotional, and training purposes.
  • 26If you do not wish your media to be used for promotional purposes, you must inform us in writing prior to your jump. Once this is confirmed, your media will be restricted to personal delivery and internal training use only.
  • 27Participants are responsible for the safety and security of all personal belongings. Skyhigh India accepts no liability for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

1.8 Insurance

⚠️ Participants are strongly advised to arrange appropriate personal accident or travel insurance prior to participating in any skydiving activity. Skyhigh India does not provide personal insurance coverage to participants. Any medical, hospitalisation, or related costs arising from the activity are the sole responsibility of the participant.

1.9 Liability & Indemnity

Skydiving is an inherently dangerous activity. By signing the mandatory waiver form and participating in any Skyhigh India activity, participants acknowledge the risks involved and agree to indemnify, release, and hold harmless Skyhigh India, its instructors, staff, affiliates, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct on the part of Skyhigh India.
